Ken McNamara
Principal, Engineer and Builder. Ken was Principal of two of Jesuit Mission, Hazaribag’s major high schools, St Joseph’s. Mahuadanr and St Xavier’s, Bokaro Steel City. In both of those schools and towns he is remembered with affection, bordering on awe, for his ability to fill students, staff and parents with enthusiasm for learning. Trained as an engineer before he became a Jesuit, Ken initially supervised the construction of the beautiful school in Mahuadanr, but after his success there he gradually became building consultant for the Jesuit Province, the two dioceses and for innumerable convents.

Returning to India
