From the Director

Dear Friends,

Welcome to Jesuit Mission which is a work of the Australian Province of the Society of Jesus a Catholic order of brothers and priests known also as Jesuits. Inspired by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Jesuit Mission promotes  poverty alleviation and the establishment and ongoing development of the Society of Jesus in areas of great need.

Through the pictures, stories and information here we hope that you may come to know more about our work for the poor in the developing world. Here you can meet the Jesuits and the people they are serving. We hope you will enjoy learning more about them and the issues that affect them.

Through financial support and through spiritual and human solidarity, all can share in our common mission of building bridges across religious, cultural and social divides. We wish you  every  blessing and thank you for your interest and concern.

Fr Phil Crotty SJ
